Strasburg, PA (November 6, 2014) – He’s making a list and checking it twice! Santa
Claus is coming to Strasburg Rail Road, leading the 2014 season of unforgettable
holiday trains and traditions.
Three special trains – and a lot of extra fun and merriment around the station – will
delight families this season at Strasburg Rail Road. Visitors can meet Santa aboard a
real, vintage steam train (and without the long mall lines), recreate the excitement of Christmas Eve with a classic storybook reading while wearing their PJs or travel by train to choose a fresh-cut Christmas Tree.
Santa’s Paradise Express
November 28 - 30, December 6 - 7, 13 - 14, 20 – 21, multiple times throughout the day
Santa will ride aboard the train with a special gift for good boys and girls. Santa will greet each passenger in their seats and families will have the opportunity to visit with him and have their photo taken. At the station Mrs. Claus will be available to help finalize letters to Santa and visitors can enjoy a ride aboard the Tinsel Trolley, a self-propelled motorcar, and hear storybook readings of holiday classics aboard a heated stationary Caboose.

Night Before Christmas Train
November 28, December 5, 12 and 19 at 6:30pm
The magic of Christmas Eve is recreated on this special train ride. Visitors can wear
their pajamas and enjoy cookies and milk as they travel down the tracks. On board, a reader dressed in a Victorian nightshirt and cap will read aloud the classic poem, "The Night Before Christmas.” At the station visitors can enjoy storybook readings of holiday classics aboard a heated stationary Caboose and a ride aboard the Tinsel Trolley, a self-propelled motorcar.

All holiday trains include a 45-minute ride down the tracks from Strasburg Rail
Road to Paradise, PA and back. Train cars are heated. For more information
